Getting confused about what to buy, need help

I have purposely waited until now to buy a car since it is no longer convertible weather in most of the US.
I was looking for a 2011-2012 V-6 Premium vert w/ AT. However, I
have come across several low mileage, loaded 2007-2010 GT verts.
Although they are overpriced (IMHO), I am now wondering what is the better buy. The car will be used as a daily driver. Not that concerned about 'newer' technology, just want a reliable car. Given the choice between either a 11/12 V6 or a 07-10 GT identically equipped, what would be the better car?

Do you want:

-low end torque and a great sound
OR
-highway gas mileage and a better interior

Depending on the answer to that question, there's your decision.

I would agree with this statement.

There really isn't that great a difference in fuel efficiency to be concerned with.

Real questions you should ask yourself are:

*which bodystyle do I prefer
*which interior is more comfortable to me
*what are my future plans to modify this car, and what are my hopes
*if I get the v6 will I regret not getting the v8

you can also test drive both vehicles and then make a pro/con list for each car and then see which suits your personal needs best.

Performance wise they are similar except mpg. Most everything else is subjective. I'd go with the v6 personally. Less money, newer, more efficient and can be made to go faster without sacrificing efficiency if you want.

2010 V8 is better than 2014 V6 in my opinion. My favorite thing about my car is that V8 rumble, a V6 is no replacement, regardless of the new 3.7's performance. I would not go older than 2010 because the older body style had an interior I wouldn't want to live with.

if your talking 05-09 GT vs the 2011+ V6..... go 2011+ V6 (because of body style/interior, and performance wise, the V6 2011 is very comparable & gets better mileage...)
..... now, if you were looking at a 2010 GT, I would say 2010 GT..... although IMO, be a man and just buy a 2011+ 5.0L! JMO

Performance not the issue

When the new 2014 C7 Corvette was introduced in January, I sold my 2010 6 spd Corvette convertible and bought a left over 2012 Corvette coupe. With 436 hp, I really don't need another hot rod.
That said, I miss the convertible and want the Mustang as a daily driver. The 2007-2010 GT has the same hp as the 2011/2012 V-6. Since the 11/12 seem to be selling for significantly less then an older GT, it looks like that may be the best buy for the money. Gas mileage is of little value to me. I retired in April and drive much less than I used to.
