I will take a shot at Ford's "answer". The 2015 GT will weigh around 200 lbs less than current car. It will have IRS. Leaked numbers have the base GT 5.0 producing 500 hp stock N/A. Sounds like a solid improvement. My interest will be in what they did to the 5.0 to get it to 500 hp, because you can bet your bow tie loving ass, I will be doing the same thing! Warranty is almost up.
Assume that the suspension dynamics are better on the new car, what are the chances that it will be superior to the already track tested live axle S197?
I think, and I'm going way out on a limb here, is that Ford's answer is going to be the best production Mustang ever built. We havent even mentioned the GT500...
