Some people will say not needed. I get oil caught in my UPR can. I don't like the idea of oil in the intake or valves. Its an easy mod.

Well I've caught several tablespoons of oil in my JLT passenger side only can in my 6K miles so I would say it was a good investment. Warranty shouldn't be affected as far as I know.

Get the passenger side if you want to get one. Is it needed? No. I am surprised how much oil it catches though.

Oil separator, yes you need one

It's a no brainer Get a Oil separator and install it on the passenger side. you will not believe the amount of oil that would be passed along into the intake tract without having one. There are several choices on this web site. You do not have to spend a lot of money for a good one.
Also it will not cause any warranty issues as long as it is installed correctly. I have 45,000 miles on the clock and it's been in place since 1500 miles and I have been to the dealer at least 10 times and it has never been questioned.

Not needed, but TOTALLY recommended. They trap a lot of oil. Oil that would've been circulated through your INTAKE. (not good)

I use one (passenger-side only) for my daily driver, and it does catch a lot of oil. I'd recommend the one made by Steeda, since it's transparent and makes it easy to see when it needs to be emptied. Either that, or get a larger one from some other manufacturer and just be diligent about checking it.
