Heads up display for Mustangs

Has anyone installed an aftermarket heads up display on their car, if so what brand, how difficult was the install, where purchased and price? I would like to install one that shows MPH, RPM, temp, fuel, etc.

Definitely agree! The HUD on my father's Vette is amazing. Would love to see one on our ponies.

Just a projection device that connects to the OBD connector right? Do you need a special type of windshield though? Cool but depends on the cost

Would need something to interpret the data and project it properly. Some type of module more than likely. Windshield is just a regular windshield. Nothing special. There's a particular angle that the image when projected on the glass has to be to see it properly. The vette had a lesser model of our track apps incorporated into the HUD. I used it a lot when i used to drive it. Definitely something I'd buy if done right!

Here's an old pic of it

They're legit and all but at the end of the day it still requires you to take your eyes off of your straight forward path, unless you mount it directly in front of you on the windshield...but even still, you have that amount of your view blocked. Nothing like the real thing.

True. What kind of PID's are available to view? Any option to have multiple? The mat is a good idea tbh.

Look up "hud" or "speedometer" in your app store and a dozen will pop up. Some has the option for hud and regular speedometer some can track your travel and 0-60 time.
