Comparator...see sig...11s can happen with an MT car. definitely go slick. Slicks on my setup would dead hook a 6000 rpm clutch drop but, I found the sweet spot around 4500.

i would be afraid of hooking too hard with stock driveshaft and axles at a 6k launch

Nothing in the driveline seems any different than 100 passes ago. Using soft sidewall slicks softens the driveline blow a bit, that's part of why I chose them. However, a 4500 launch didn't increase the 60 foot and so that became the sweet spot and was easier on things.

Well, I think his tune should be OK. I made passes at a track near me, bone stock with exception of a Steeda shifter bracket and GT500 exhaust and made a 12.6 @ 111 pass while bumping the rev limiter in 4th through the traps with the factory 3.73's. He might need to launch at 2200 or at least over 2000.

5LHO, are you shifting into 5th to get that 115 trap or are those Hoosiers tall enough to leave it in 4th longer?

The Hoosiers are tall enough to allow a 4th gear trap on 3.73s. It's right perfect as it sits for that, just below the factory limiter in 4th. Another reason I bought them.
