Just Installed GT500 Exhaust. WOW!

I just put a set of Ford Racing GT500 axle backs on my 2014 GT. The difference from the stock exhaust is incredible! A massive improvement over the factory exhaust.

I have seen people on the forum here say they can't hear the difference. They must be deaf. Lots of throaty rumble, quite a bit louder. Not only does the car sound different, it feels different! It really feels like I am driving a different car...makes it feel more powerful. Not that it didn't feel powerful before

Great mod for $300.

Did you remove the resonators as well or leave them on? My GT500 axle back should arrive tomorrow and I am trying to decide if I should leave the resonators on or take them off. Right now I am leaning towards leaving them on, that way if I still want a bot more sound I can remove them.

When you want to just know what the pure design looks like .. you do it in white . other people do them in fantastic colors, where people go "I love that color" and they overlook the car . when you do it in white, you get to see the basic shape of the car, the basic design of the car, and thats what I like. - Jay Leno

I did NOT remove the resonators. I'm sure it would be louder if I did. But it is plenty loud for me and my neighbors now

Love mine too (with resonator).

Pretty much perfect compromise. Would prefer a little louder when I'm feeling playful, but know I'd get tired of them if they they were obnoxious.

Give them some time to age before you take the resonators out. Mine have gotten a bit louder and gurgle more with time.

Just take the resonators out. It doesn't add any additional noise at cruising speeds, and sounds a lot better when you're getting on it.

Agreed. At first I was like "what the heck it's no louder". But when you give it a little of the right petal you'll def notice a great sound difference. It doesn't really make it louder though in normal driving. You wouldn't know the difference just crusing around
