H13 & H10 LED bulbs...?

I was just browsing around the interwebz yesterday, and noticed that some of the "high end" LED vendors are starting to sell LED H13 headlight bulbs. Has anyone here ever tried using them in the halogen (not HID) housings of our Mustangs? I also saw them in H10 for the standard GT grille fog lights as well.

My Mustang seems to put out enough light, so I'm not inclined to spend $100 on LED's at the moment. I'm just curious if anyone has seen them in person or tried using them?


2012 GT Premium, Ingot Silver, Black Leather, MT82 , Navigation pkg, Comfort pkg, Brembo pkg, 3.73, GT500 AB's, FRPP 1" lowering springs, BMR LCA's, Adj Panhard Bar, GT/CS lower fascia, window tint, clear bra, sound tube deleted, hood struts, staggered Conti DW's, Hertz 5x7 speakers front & rear.

awful glare and hot spots when used in reflector (halogen) housings, not recommended

This is not correct.

I have a set of High/Low LED headlight bulbs on my '99 Impreza RS and they do NOT produce light similar to HIDs. They have a lower wave length and directed light, which translates to good low beams that do not blind people and subpar high beams.

You can find my review of them here. See a picture of the light at night:

looks like you can only see 20 ft in front of you!. if you had OEM HID than I would say sure for the fogs just for aesthetics imop!
