There are about a billion threads here asking this exact question and it really comes down to what oil you feel like using and how much you feel comfortable spending. The reality is that just about any major oil brand will be just fine in your car.

As far as the oil weight goes, you'll do no wrong in running what's listed on the oil cap or in the owners manual. If you prefer to run a slightly different weight then that's up to you. I prefer to use 5w-30. Why? Because I feel like it.

You also posted in the wrong forum. You want 2011+ tech/talk.

I just use motorcraft oil & filters just like the manual recommends. Also, yes this is in the wrong forum, I`ll move it.

How many miles on the car? I wouldn't change to a full synthetic until about 5k, but I'm old school.

Like someone said, if u do a search u could read on this for a long time. Type of oil/filter/intervals/who does the oil change. I let the dealer change mine but bring my own Mobil 1, and I let them use their Motorcraft filter. Change it every 5000 miles

I just changed mine for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I used Motorcraft Synthetic Blend 5w20, and the bigger FL820 filter.

Ok I feel silly but never thought to bring my own. I have a track pack GT and 5w50 is recommended. I'm at 3800 miles and was just getting ready to take it in for the first change... completely expected to get nailed on the cost of 5w50 so just might BYOO!

+1 The semi synthetic works just fine and I figured Ford knows what oil to put in the car.

I changed to Mobil 1 at I believe 800mi, car burns no oil and makes no odd noises. I change it once a year, as I put less than 5k miles per year on the car

Amsoil 0w30 is what I now use. Used Amsoil 5w20 for long time, but wish I used the 0w30 from the start.

Less consumption, quieter, no gas mileage decrease at all, and a bit more protection with the 30.

Whale oil and a filter made from Unicorn hair....pricey but worth it.

2012 V6 traded in for a 2017 VW GTI.
