NO more SUV looking black rockers and valance.

Just thought I'd show the results. No more black rockers and rear valance. I feel it gives the car a lower look. Never did care for the black plastic.

That looks so much nicer. The lack of black plastic is what turned me on to the '13 vs. previous years.

Looks a lot better, makes me miss my 2005 sonic blue GT, but luckily I still have a 67 with a 4 speed.

OP

Nice! That's different and I love the approach you're taking with this. But there's something about Amstung's Raxiom Aero Tails that I think would definitely bring the car together and make the rear pop a little more if you're going to run without a decklid panel.

Painting those ugly black valences makes a big improvement.

Did you paint them yourself or have a shop do it. I would imagine they were removed before painting right?

as others have said, visually the black plastic rockers are one of the worst looking parts of the car. +1 on the lower/leaner look it is real big improvement that I'd like to do but I'm too cheap to pay someone and don't have the setup to paint myself.

well done

I paid $150 per Rocker and $370 for the bumper. Candy red has an uplift in pricing. Standard colors are cheaper...
