Procharger shipped!

Just confirmed my procharger will be shipping out this afternoon! I'm overly way to happy hahaha!

Anyways on a more serious note, I am taking my car to Houston, TX to get my paint corrected. While I'm down there I figured a good shop could install/tune the procharger. Could anyone recommend a decent shop that won't rip me a new one on price?
It's a procharger stage 2 kit from American muscle. I would need a tune as I don't have the temporary tune that Procharger normally sends. Sandy at procharger told me they can't tune for longtubes. I didn't understand why, but didn't care either. Dyno tune was going to happen anyway. Thanks in advance, open to all recommendations

Congratulations on getting your Procharger. Any shop with employees that have reasonable mechanical ability can install your unit. It is a very well laid out supercharger, and lends itself to home installation.
You mentioned a tune, and that is what you will want to do. The supplied Procharger tune will allow you to drive your car, but it is very conservative, to say the least. A good dyno tune will get you the power that the Procharger can offer, and then some.
Good luck.

Congrats! If I were you, I would wait and drive to Brenspeed. You will have zero issues if you do. This install is something they could do in their sleep. The tune will also be spot on. Just sayin.

I live in monticello, arkansas, so dallas would be just a mild detour and could handle it if the price was right.

Congratulations! That's going to be awesome on your Mustang. Enjoy the kit!

Keep up the great work with your Mustang. I wish I knew some shops in Texas, but I don't really have any great recommendations. I'm sure the local guys on this forum can help you out!

Best of luck! Let us know how it goes. I look forward to pictures after the install! I wish I had a camera in the car when you make the first pull, haha!

If you are going to be in the Houston area check out:

Houston Performance Motorsports
14610 Tomball Parkway suite 403
Houston, TX
281.893.6080
New Page 1

I have no idea what they charge but they specialize in mustangs. They do it all. This is around the northwest side of town. A friend in our local mustang club recommended them. Hope this helps ya

Dont know much about tuners in texas, but I know you will love the kit. Did procharger give you a discount since you didnt get the tune (a part of the complete system). Just wondering since they can not tune for my planned setup either due to longtubes.

2003 Redfire V6,
Show: Smoked everything, cobra front bumper, gt rear bumper, rear decklid and lower valence blackout with black mustang letters, 5% rear front 15%, black 98 Cobra rims front, 95 Cobra R rear black with chrome lip, black scoops and spoiler and exhaust tips

Go: CAI, True Duals with flowmaster super 44's, Bama Tune, full suspension (lowered, 8.8, 4.10s, UCA, LCA, springs, CC plates)

AmericanMuscle gave me store credit, which was fine with me.
