2014 V6 Vert - Track video

So i won a GoPro Hero3 White Edition from DragTimes.com and decided to test it out yesterday at the track... Lined up against a modded LS3 Camaro and lost... but happy with the video, especially the audio... with my old GoPros the wind noise over powers everything as soon as you start moving... with the Hero 3 the wind noise is better controlled.... The other thing that impressed me was these silly Michelin All Season tires! This was a Test and Tune session... I had no spin and was basically cutting the same 60' as the LS3....

Definitely wasn't stock...

Had quad tip exhaust, so not stock LS3 mufflers... so looked liked ZL1 rear fascia and had ZL1 wheels/tires. Had an aftermarket hood... and was completely de-badged... walked over to talk to the guy but the couple times i headed over he was out on the track...

What were your times?

2014 Sterling gray GT 6M
Paxton Novi 2200 with torque booser and Lund tune, DW1000 injectors, JMS BAP, ATI damper
Lethal ORP, MGW shifter, BMR upper and lowers, Spicer 1 piece DS, Ram Single disk clutch with aluminum flywheel, Power leather seat conversion. Staggered wheels.

Now at this point I'm assuming it was an LS3... The car was completely de-badged. It had quad tip exhaust, so it had ZL1 rear fascia... it had ZL1 wheels and tires... it had a non-stock hood... was not a SS or ZL1 hood... looked like some kind of light weight hood... Trap speed however tells me it was a LS3.. I did run into a ZL1 a few weeks ago though... guy couldn't launch and was doing the 2.4 - 2.5 60' which was let me get the jump on him and beat him in the 1/8th.... my like 9.0s to his 9.2s...

Looks about right for a lightly modded LS3.

WHAT? I thought all 5th Gen SS's were automatically 12 second cars?
