So do any of the cars that came from the factory with 19" tires have a spare. I know the Brembo cars don't but what about some of the others? My base model with the 18" wheels came with a spare but I would like to upgrade to some of the other 19" offerings for the Mustang but I want to have a spare.

My car is not a Brembo car and it came with the 19" nickel luster rims. It does have a spare. Once I upgrade to Brembo's I'll buy a fixaflat kit (I own a pump for auto-x) and stick a subwoofer in the spare tire well.

My '13GT with BBP didn't come with a spare either.

Using Craigslist, searching "Brembo", I found a guy an hour away who had just sold his '12 GT that had the BBP.

He had:

1) 4 18" wheels and tires, with TPMS

2) A 5th 18" wheel with a new tire along with jack and handle

3) Roush Cold Air Kit

All for $800.

I put the 18s on for cold weather use during the months of November to April. Put the OEM 19s for the rest of the year.

To me, it is worth the investment of a full size spare for the peace of mind.

Hmmm. I have all the above, spare with jack, I thought this was standard on my ride.. a 14 base GT. There are 4 places within 2 miles of my house that have numerous 19 inch tires made by a half dozen companies in stock. Sounds like a real bad day.

I miss my spare. All the 5.0 automatics have spares except the BBP.

That's right - and on a 2012 or 2013. I got caught flatfooted on that also when I bought my 2012 Brembo equipped GT. I opened up the trunk, lifted the mat and thought to myself . . . Dude - someone stole my spare!. Then I noticed the air compressor and can of green slime in there.

What are you expecting Ford / Dealer to do? The "tire mobility kit" or whatever Ford calls it was on your window sticker, owners manual, and in the specs for your car. It also was obvious if you had ever looked. If you are just complaining to them that is your right but don't expect anything except a sympathetic ear (at best).

2012 V6 traded in for a 2017 VW GTI.
