I have a spare and jack. Sometimes having a base model pays.

I can agree with you on the spare. But seriously, if you can't find 255/40/19's, you suck at the interwebs. Bridgestone, Continental, Michelin, Hankook, Goodyear, Nitto... Take your pick, they are everywhere. You can even get the Michelin pilot super sports (arguably the best street tire ever) in 255/40/19.

Just goto tirebuyer.com or tirerack.com and search for 255/40/19 then spend your money.

Some of us managed to get them with Premiums, too. Saved my butt once already.

And yeah, this isn't a tough sized tire to find. Lots of great options.

That has nothing to do with base model, I have a spare and jack and mine is a GT/CS...
It's strange that some have it and others don't...

clarification

It was hard to find 255 40 ZR19 PIRELLIS.

i have 4000 miles on the car, so the tires are still new

I can't leave my car at work on base, and had no way to get home 70mile commute ONE WAY

No one in NOrth Jersey had this tire in stock.

Yes I did get a flat and the stupid fix a flat wasn't working.

On my new set, I will get michelin pilot sports. I was trying to find Pirelli's, which the interwebs can't really provide the same day, can't they?

You should have free roadside assistance through Ford on a 2014.

Roadside service still available???

Not trying to hijack or anything but this kinda fits here. Does anybody know where to get that plastic fuel adapter thingy? Mine seems to have grown legs, or I never had it.

Porsch, although this is after the fact a few ideas. Ford does sell a kit for about $200+ donut/jack/wrench. For my non spare car I bought a plug kit I keep in all the time and when I go on trips of more than 50 miles I had bought a set of OEM's off someone (so I didn't have to use my summer onlys in winter) and I'll throw one in the back. It doesn't fit in the well but since my daily is short it ain't a problem.

Also I've been told the factory fix-a-flat will harm the TPMS and to buy Slime brand instead.
