Don't forget that your 2013 V6 has as much torque\hp as the 09 and minus V-8 Mustangs. You should def be able to do a burnout

Also, I guess my prior post, didn't post, ozium should easily get rid of that smell. You can find it @ Pepboys\Autozone generally as well, and some walmarts.

Yeah. The one I rented in Las Vegas was an automatic V6. I was impressed with its power for a V6. I had rented an automatic GT in LA a few weeks earlier. The combination of the two rentals is what made me have to have mine.

You were right, got my tuner in today and used the stock file and changed the octane to 93 and filled her up with a full tank of 93. Did a brake stand to 3k and got 6.2 0-60 MPH and squealed them tires good(I live at 2000-2500 ft elevation could this be hurting my times?). Even without a brake stand they chirped going into second. Pretty good result for 2.73 gears i suppose, hopefully after I get my custom tune from MPT I can get below 6 seconds.

outside the box........

That worked for ME

Ozium does work, too. I used it in my F150 after a through cleaning right before I traded it in and then had my 22 year old-non smoking
son drive it for a day to see if he could smell the musty smoke smell and he couldn't.

Up til I bought the Mustang, I smoked in my cars. (still smoke in the others, just not the Mustang). Do some regular driving with the windows down after you do a good cleaning inside, should work the smell out. My mom was an ex smoker, with breathing problems, and I could give her a ride in my car that I did smoke in and she wouldn't smell it. (at least she said she couldn't, and with her breathing problems, I don't think she could fake her not smelling it, she had very sensitive breathing issues). Sprays like Ozium and FaBreeze can help eliminate it as well.

no matter how good they clean the car, they never clean one thing... the headliner. thats where most smells get trapped no matter how many times you clean the car... because you don't clean it and smoke goes up. vacuum the headliner good and spray it lightly with fabreeze or ozium. I, like alot of others prefer ozium since it actually kills odors, not hide them.

2013 3.7, GHIG, Recaros (cloth), Perf package, 102a w/sync,rear sensing, alarm system.
Barton short shifter & mount, drake boot adapter, custom knob, JLT painted cai, Steeda UCA, Freedomracing adjustable panhard, smoked front side markers, front plate mount removed, 35% tint, tinted tail centers & 3rd brake, c/s spoiler, cpc color matched hood struts,.

Leather helps with getting rid of the smoke. Make sure to steam that headliner good. But don't listen to people saying that smell is there to stay. I had a '95 G20 with those thick plush cloth seats and it was smoked in a lot. Windows down for a while and the smell is gone.

I actually thought about not smoking in the Mustangs, I really did. But the way things are going these days, the cars are gonna be the only place where we CAN smoke.

Can't smoke at work any more, not even outside if within sight distance of a freakin' doorway, can't smoke in a restaurant or bar, heck in some places in this country you can't even smoke in your own home (thank God I don't live I one of those communist states).

Yeah, as a smoker, we are the outcasts and lepers of today. One of the jobs I am applying for, you will not be hired as a smoker. So trying the ear thing to try and quit on Monday. another place, they ask right away if you have smoked in the last 6 months, if you have, you "do not meet minimum requirements for employment". It is getting harder and harder to find a place to smoke, even some sidewalks if close to a certain business, no. Luckily I am not in on of the communist states that almost limits you even smoking outside your own home.
