LOL @ "socialist country"

BTW, that's just one province's draconian response to street racing. Our pedestals of morality vary across our vast and great social paradise. Here, they just impound your car for 30 days, threaten to auction it and back down once you lawyer up.
Thirteen supercars in "rich kid street race" could be seized and sold

I just said there is NO way Ford said the GT does 0-60 in 4.3. Avg BEST times are 4.5, but typically in the mid to upper mids, but I mean, whatever keeps you thinking your car is macho is fine, seems you need that boost.

I can go do a video if you want pop the hood and say your screen name and how much of an idiot you were for judging so fast, and in the stupidest manner ever. "YOU DARN KIDS!!!!" LOL, make yourself sound like you have a cane.

For now here is a vid of some of the fun I had in the SRT-8 which would nail 4.6-4.8 constantly (well, with a tune and 180 t-stat, otherwise the motor was always @ 225f+ due to the stupid stock fan settings and t-stat, then it felt like a Civic), and was just the 6.1l HEMI. Shows the stock forged wheels which I swapped to gloss black for a wider wheel.
I'm not even sure what you're trying to argue anymore. You cite different numbers every time you make a post. A stock GT can hit mid 4 seconds. A GT with shorter gears and sticky tires can hit 4.3. The end.

So a non-stock one. That was what I was saying. Other wise is on avg @ best 4.5+ and that is with a GOOD driver. I wasn't talking about gearing but that would make a change, and the radials a big change, I was just saying in normal stock config.

3.55 gears, 3.73 gears, and summer tires are stock options. So stock. Not non-stock.

No, all automatic GTs are 3.15 from the factory. The GT500 went with 3.31 gears in 2013.

Heck the '13 GT-500 can do up to 62MPH in 1st gear, sucker is crazy but must be awful in traffic lol. And alright, wasn't sure. I almost bought a premium GT convertible but I wanted it in automatic, but Ford just uses weird plus and minus buttons on the shifter, no paddles\slap stick, so manual was the only option for me. Also I think my SRT-8 Challenger had 4.10 gearing.

Which is why I was like if I'm going to go manual it's gonna be a GT-500. Aside from the annoying 1-2 shift that all of them have, loving the change.

**SIGH**

5.0 Mustangs are available, from the factory, as standard options, with 3.73 LSDs and super-sticky, summer-only Mercedes Original Pirelli tires. These tires (& wheels) are found on the Brembo PP and Track Pack cars.

These cars are easy early to mid 4 second cars.

Car magazines have tested them around 4.3-4.4-4.5 second 0-60 since 2010. And there's nothing special about automotive magazine test drivers, they're actually just journalists. The only thing they have going for them is they are willing to rag on cars, as they don't care about them.

2012 GT Premium, Brembo PP, MT82, 3.73s, Blk/Blk. Bama 93R, Koni Yellow Rear Shocks, Hawk Ceramic pads, Luxurious & Plush Floor Mats

So then I should be looking at trying to hit 3.9-4.0 when I get better at shifting the 500 then?

Someone has already referenced that a GT500 did a 3.5 second 0-60 for one of the magazines.

And since GT500s don't need to get out of 1st gear to hit 60, your shifting wouldn't be an issue.

He is not driving a 2013 GT500 (look at the headlights), it's 12 or older (3.73 gears instead of 3.31), so 3.9-4 sounds more realistic with the lesser horsepower and the need to shift into second gear.

Yeah I have the 2012. The '13 if I recall does not even have a lower or upper grill due to the cooling it requires.

1st gear is used until 42mph, not 62 like the '13+ and then you have that annoying 1-2 shift.

It has grilles but there's not much to them. Wheels are different as well.
