from a 2011 v6 to a 2014 gt

I had a grabber blue cyclone with an endless amount of mods including:
Bbk shorty headers
Axle back competition series magnaflow
91r Bama tune
3.55:1 gears
Airaid CAI
Bbk throttle body
Strut tower brace
18x9 black wheels
Custom subwoofer box 12" sub and 1000 RMS amp (fitted to the wasted part of the trunk that slopes)
DVD with navigation with the spectre dash kit with bluetooth
Short throw shifter
headlight and tail light tint
Quarter mirror Louvers
Carbon fiber interior
LED dome lights.

The dealer was nice enough to let me keep my :
custom box with amp and sub,
Wheels
Headlight tint
And I still have my tuner. And of course the nice upgrade to the v8
Here are some before and after pics

Any recommendations on best bang for buck upgrades. I'm thinking off road x pipe and CAI since I all ready have a tuner

Best bang for the buck upgrades would be Koni STR.T's and a mild set of lowering springs.

EDITuh, forgot to say: Congrats on the gorgeous new ride!

OP-Congratulations on the new trade!!! I would highly recommend both to get the car breathing a little better and down the road faster. Despite having the tuner already this can't be carried over to another car and you would need to re-enroll in our tunes for life program. Shoot me a PM so I can get you set up!

I saw that I'm going to have to get a new tunes for life but before I drop $150 at AmericanMuscle which I've always done my business through, any suggestions on someone else does tunes ? Mpt? Or? I am considering something more radical in mind for the v8. But here in Utah all we have is 91 gas. But I am pricing out off road x pipe, boss intake manifold, throttle body and cold air intake. Who do you use for tunes ?

Steeda, AED, or Lund will all run about $200-$250. Steed has a lifetime tunes option, AED will charge for additional on major engine mods, and not sure about Lund - but those are the 3 quality names in tuning that have zero or very very very few failures.

Forgot to add: Shaun at AED will ask for datalogs from your car before he writes a tune for it. If he sees something he doesnt like he will refuse to write a tune for you. He's certainly not the cheapest option, but definitely one of the safest and most quality ones out there.

Would you recommend Bama for bang for buck and their customer service ? Only had one bad tuned written in the dozens of times they upgraded my tune? Thanks for the response.

I would recommend Bama if you want a bang period. Do some research on Bama's tunes, especially in the last 6 months or so as they've had some personnel turnover. I currently dont have a tune but will be getting one in the future, I've pretty much decided on either Steeda or AED. Id rather stay stock than run Bama on my car - even if they gave it to me for free.

I was considering that too. Possibly getting all the mods up to the off road pipe (have to get tuned after removing cats) and see if my local shop can help me tune it. We have a place that I believe made the helion turbo kit where I live in slc called turbo innovations. Pretty sure they could tune it for me.

Congrats on the upgrade, sorry you spent all that money on your V6, just to do it again.
Nice ride you have now and even better, it's a blank canvas.
Have fun!!
