Where to get aluminum driveshaft parts

My local DS shop said they would build me an alum. DS. Later he contacted me as he couldn't find any one wiiling to sell the ends needed. He said the main 3 Mustang Alum. DS sellers wont part with the end hardware. They have a lock on the market and are trying to keep everyone else out. I had a race drive shaft built for one of my race cars. Cost me $250 plus universals. I realize these are different but $700-800. A bit over the top. Cars in question are a 2008Roush and a 2014 GT. Both with automatics. Any help is appreciated!!

Well, I doubt if the "Big 3" build their own ends.......

2nd, I don't doubt the Big 3 would say that but, it's kinda in direct violation of federal trade laws/Anti-Trust act....
