tire review General G-MAX A/S 3

Great tire! End of review. Haha just kidding.

On a serious note I just got 4 new 245/40r20 Gmax's put on my car and I'm just really happy w/ them!! It rained today first day on and I was surprised how well they stuck brand new. It dried then rained again and by the 2nd rain I had been driving them harder than I normally would. Cutting corners harder than usual etc. Nothing crazy just driving harder than I normally do. Anyways, It really is a good tire but one thing I heard about it and it's true is they will squeal and you'll know it. I'm telling you if I burned out my car from a stop (which I'll try eventually lol) these things would turn heads for a half mile. Just cornering you can hear them gripping the pavement and then any slippage at ALL and you'll know it b/c you'll hear it! Kind of a good thing in a way. I was between this tire and the DWS Conti's. Bottom line I needed an All Season tire. I came from a Michelin old school PS3 or something. A summer tire. I can't remember the exact name of the tire but I could find it if I looked hard enough. These new tires seemed to improve the ride on the car too and are quieter (until you break them loose). Going down the road though they are great. Very quiet and feel smooth w/ a good ride. Good luck to all and let me know if you have any questions I could answer for you.

You did well by staying away from the Conti DWS. Those are absolute garbage. I just sold a set with 9/32nds on them for $250 just to get rid of them. Go onto Google and search "Continental DWS vibration" and watch your screen blow up.

Oh man that sucks. Yeah I'm thankful for that, never heard that about them before. Mainly all fantastic reviews.
