This will be dumbest question ever.. I currently have 19x8.5 wheels and I was just wondering if I buy 19x9.5 wheels, then will my old tires from 19x8.5 fit into new 19x9.5 wheels?

8.5" wheels typically see a 245 tire. It will probably fit on a 9.5, but it will look like crap and be all stretched out. You typically fit a 265/275/285 on a 9.5" wheel. Since you never actually said what tire size we're talking about, I've assumed it's a 245. :)

What brand and model tire? 255 is certainly better than 245. You should be able to look up acceptable when widths on the manufacturers website. 255 is perfect for a 9" wheel.

255 is the stock 9" fitment. It will be fine, especially with the relatively tall aspect ratio of 40

I don't see any reason why you can't use your old TMPS units. Unless they were giving you problems.
