Tuning Horror Stories - Apocatune Now!

Ok, so I'm getting around to doing my first tune after waiting 4 years. I'm a patient man. I chose MPT after a lot of research. Will review it after.

Looking for some feedback on the things that can go wrong while uploading with my SCT X3.

Heard about a few fails because of battery issues... What can go wrong here? My battery is 4 years old. Anything else I should be aware of?

Take the poll...

I'm running a Bama tune with a X3 on my 2006 V6. No problems. Go back and forth from tune to stock once a year for inspection and sometimes between tunes. No issues.

2011 GT has a FRPP tune. Never went back to stock.

I added a Steeda tune this past weekend Steeda set me up with a 91 and 93 performance tune loaded onto my SCT tuner I purchased from them. I loaded the 91 tune and it made a noticeable difference it was easy to do and my car runs great. Prob try the 93 tune soon. After lots of research I chose Steeda there tunes are safe and reliable I'm happy with my choice.

Leave your battery on a battery charger or bat tender while you are updating your tune just to be safe.
