Ask your local law enforcement if you can leave it on the dash. A lot of drivers in Texas do it and I haven't seen anyone getting in trouble over it.

Neither does Florida. And no snow. Just move before you drill any holes.

Ordered Craig's Custom Mustang Bracket, he shipped the next day and it arrived only a few days later. It's very easy to install as I did it in a parking lot using a small tool kit I keep in the car. I'm very happy with it and love the fact it could be taken off in the future with no evidence left on the car.

Sucks that NYC gave you a ticket. Craig's bracket is a good option. I was running it until i switched out by upper and lower grilles to the Roush and the Craig's bracket was not compatible. Since then I have just left my front plate off. Even though Illinois requires a front plate, I have yet to have a cop pull me over for not having one.

I also plan to eventually move to a state that does not require a front plate. It is totally unnecessary and our cars look way better without one.

I wish my car didn't come from a state that required front plates. Since the factory plate holder was already there and the holes in the bumper skin i went ahead a put an aircrew wings plate there.
