Help me build my suspension package

I'v decided to pick everyone's brain, if they allow it, to help build a suspension package for my car.

I've seen the ones American Muscle has to offer and searched some of the old threads here. Not wanting to resurrect an old thread, plus things may have changed in the past few years.

Now, this suspension upgrade probably won't happen until spring of next year, but it doesn't hurt to start gathering the parts together. I would do it this summer, but I've decided to have the stripes painted on to the car as the vinyl I originally had put on the car is starting to not look so good.

That being said, I was thinking just to get a Fays 2 Watt's Link and then upgrade the struts, springs and sway bars. Or should I skip the Watt's Link and go with an adjustable pan hard bar?

Either route I choose is going to still require I pick out the right shocks and springs and that is what I need help with.

The car is my daily driver and I don't really track the car, but I want to improve the handling on the car.

I voted on installing everything because that's what I'll be doing. I did springs and adjust panhard on my 12 and it made a difference but still had the inherent issues any panhard rod will - it moves through an arc and will effect the rear end. I am definitely going with a watts this time. Still researching springs and would caution you to be careful - I added the Eibach sports (red) springs to my 12 and while it was a huge difference and awesome on smooth pavement it was also flat out annoying on bumpy roads and I don't want to do that again - my track pack is my daily driver so I need compliance.

My .02 CDN

Scott

Any recommendations on the shocks, struts, control arms and springs?

Tires, where the suspension meets the road.

Considering my tires only have 15,000 miles on them, still have a ways to go before I need to change them.

Do you have stock tires ? A/S junk tires is not a part of a good suspension setup.

Not looking at getting tires until I need to. Thanks.

I did Koni Yellow/SR springs/Steeda plates with a mix of BMR and others Panhard/UCA's/LCA's and the difference is huge. It removed a lot of the delayed body toss I was getting when having fun on 2 lane black top. Whatever route you take don't do a 1/2 way jobs but do it soon. It was by far the best mod I've done

Buy my Steeda shocks and struts-I need to get rid of these! They're perfect for a daily driver setup.

I like bilstiens and bmr or whiteline control arms. You can go with any spring really.

Yeah, I don't want too harsh a ride, but the car now feels like it rolls too much.

Oh man, I wish I could, the paint job I have to pay for is going to be at least 1200 bucks. If you still have it in 4 months let me know, I will definitely take you up on the offer.
