Tire size for 18x9/10?

Just bought rims. They are 18x9/10. I am considering buying Nitto Invo. However, I can not tell which is the best tire size for 18x9/10. I would like to have the 4 tires' diameter to be equal or rears little bit longer than the fronts. So, which do you think the best tire size for them? Thank you.

Here is an example of a pretty standard combo, as sold by American Muscle:

Staggered Black Bullitt Mustang Wheel & NITTO INVO Tire Kit - 18x9/10 (05-10 GT; 05-14 V6) - Free Shipping

Front is 255/45-18 ; rear is 275/40-18

You can look up tire diameters on Tire Rack. I'm pretty sure the 275/40-18 is just a little shorter overall diameter than the 255/45 so you might want to go with 285/40 on the back.

Sounds good. I think I will get the 285/40 on the back! Thank you.

There are two decent tire combinations for 18x9 / 18x10
255/45-18 with 285/40-18
245/45-18 with 275/40-18
