Bellhousing Pattern 3.7L?

Hello all,

I am looking for a manual transmission that will fit the 3.5L Ecoboost engine as used in the F150 trucks. I read that the shape and bolt pattern of the bellhousing is unique to the 3.5. I also heard that it isn't quite unique because the manual trans used for Mustangs with a 3.7 (MT82) bolt right up to the 3.5 as well. I think the combination of the 3.7 and MT82 was offered 2011-2014. Anyone know if this is good info? Seems if the trans were used with the 3.7 maybe it is used elsewhere. Its all about fitment of the odd duck bellhousing which both the 3.7 and 3.5 share.

According to this link the 3.7 transmission will bolt right up to the 3.5 EcoBoost. Read the whole Thread, he started out with a 2010 v6 Mustang and said if he had started out with a 2011+ v6 Mustang it would have cost him less money to do this swap . The GT manual transmission won't bolt up right, he had to get a v6 transmission...…..
