I was thinking similarly with some new slotted rotors that are probably lighter, Performance Package pads and maybe upgrade the lines to SS. I didn't think about replacing the fluid too.

I would HIGHLY suggest changing fluid before each track day (excluding AutoX), and it doesn't have to be with really high boiling point, but get a higher Dot4. My local performance place sells some decent wilwood 570 for a good price. I was told Motul RBF660 was the best, and with the temps I may achieve with my setup, I wanted to be prepared since my stock fluid didn't look too healthy afterward.

My rotors were shredded, so I got them shaved properly by my bud @O'Reily's that graduated a year ago (he knows his stuff). That helped the grind, but they still felt quite a bit faded. Once I changed my fluid (got some cheaper high temp Dot4 from O'Reily's because it was my last event before the long winter and I didn't have access to the RBF660), the brakes felt better than new!

I'm also hoping slotted rotors will help slightly with cooling, but more importantly, reduce a lot of the striations I had on my OEM rotors. Thus, reducing a lot of unnecessary wear.
