Sequential Manual for Mustang 05+ SSS Drive

Anyone here tried a sequential conversion for the manual.
It seems you have to still clutch. According to the video.
However it would mean you cant skip shift. But you will always get into gear if going fast.

Here is the company that makes it.
Sequential Shifting System

All components are attached to the gearbox and do not intrude into the interior of the car for a clean and professional finish.

I like the idea. Just wondering how accurately this system would help with shifts.

reminds me of a quad/motorcycle setup.... I think it would take a lot of getting used to but I could see how it would allow for quicker shifting.

Me personally I think the left foot slows me down shift times more than the right hand... LOL

Well, there have been ratcheting shifters in the past made by Hurst for 4 speeds and DN 5 speeds so the idea is nothing new.

The details on this one are very sketchy though, some mention of cables doing the actuating. I would have to see more details.

And there is no pricing shown, and I wouldn't buy anything from the Czech Republic sight unseen as you would have no recourse if the thing was a POS that didn't work. Maybe if someone in the U.S. becomes a dealer and they show more details.

I agree with you as far as purchase from unknown vendor.
However the idea is great. Wonder if Barton or any other company can get into it and build something.
