are automatic and manual driveshafts different?

I currently have a 2012 auto with shaftmasters 4" aluminum drive shaft, however shortly I will be trading it for a 2013 mustang manual. I was simply wondering if they are the same and if I could just swap it over since my car will be returned to stock anyway.

You should have purchased a dss from cfm they are the same for both trans. Scott has explained many of the benefits of the dss, this is just 1 more.

Check with the Mfg. They should be the same. I know the 3-1/2" shaftmaster DS for my 2011 V6 is the same as the manual.
