ProCharger for 2013-2014 Mustang 3.7L

Hello fellas!

I plan to supercharge my stang this year (once I get it of course). I was surprised to see that the 2011-2012 Procharger kit is not set up for the 2013-2014 models for some reason and that ATI was coming out with a new or updated system for the newer 3.7L powered machines. After contacting ATI they state that the new set up should be available second or third quarter 2013. Tech support was unable to verify what parts of the set up are changed as they are not R&D.

Looks like a winter project which leaves plenty of time to prep with a drive shaft and other little goodies.

It's better to get all the supporting mods on first for troubleshooting and safety reasons. Good to hear you are on the same path as a handful of us here!

I wouldn't have it any other way! Do it right the first time then there's no regrets. I would like to do the S/C myself, but the down side is I could not get the extended warranty offered by pro charger. Would be cheaper to pay for the install then to replace the engine.

The front of the 2013 is different, so the intercooler will not bolt in like the 11-12's.

Interesting. I was unaware there were changes that would effect the kit. However, there were known fitment issues with 2011-2012 as is... So I'm glad they are fixing the fitment.

From what I've seen with the 11-12's, fittment issues were just tubing connectors that needed to be cut down. Even though the kit is a bolt on, there is some work that needs to be done to get the intercooler piping lined up properly so the intercooler will bolt in.

Interesting. I saw in at least one instance that the inter cooler "hanger" did not align.

If you think that's bad... try squeezing brake ducts along with the intercooler piping in a manner that actually transfers air to the brakes. Took a lot of adjusting and cutting to fit it all on my Roush bumper cover.

It wasn't bad with just the intercooler piping.

keep in mind, with a compotent tuner, you can order the tuner kit now and have the differences handled by your local mustang tuner.

in socal I recommend v's performance in orange ca.

galpin auto sports is also another good mustang tuner in southern California (of pimp my ride fame)

does v's performance do dyno tunes? ive been wondering what my car will put up on a dyno and maybe if the price is right i can get it tuned with the steeda tune for optimum power and to make sure the air to fuel ratio is spot on. although im pretty sure it is.
