New FRPP Suspension

Got the FRPP suspension kit for the V6 installed yesterday. It is a definite improvement over the performance package that came on the car. I like the slightly lower center of gravity and the overall improvement in stability in corners. It is a slightly harsher ride, but no more than I expected for the gains in handling.

Highly recommend if you are serious about handling.

it should be noted that only the end links, springs, and dampers are any different functionality wise over the PP. the strut tower brace looks different but will perform the same as the frpp strut tower brace.

How does it compare to your previous Roush suspension?

Suspension performance is subjective. I would rate this one about 95% of the Roush. Why? As an example, say you are in a hard corner and the car has taken a set, then you hit a ripple in the roadway. The Roush doesn't notice, the FRPP gets a tiny bit rattled then settles back in. Not much, but noticeable if you have driven both.

Now, one more try on the pic...

Curious about the springs settling since the install.
Has there been much since the original install?

And on your Roush suspension comparison was that same car? Same tires size and aspect? adjustable Panhard?

Been looking at the M-FR3-MV6A package for our V6s and may end up going that way.

1. No settling that I can tell.

2. The roush was on my 2012 GT which I totaled.

3. Tire size was 265/40 18 vs 255/40 19. No adjustable panhard.

I decided against Roush this time because their package is optimized for the GT. they say they use that setup on the GTS v6, but I figured Frpp had customized theirs for the v6.

From his previous post it would be the 255 19" rims hence the picture with the Performance Package Wheels!
