Intense, how does your care feel with the 4.30 gears in it? I'm debating a gear swap... coming from 3.31's I think the only thing that would make a big enough difference is going to 4.10's. With the auto I don't think it will be to bad. How do your 4.30 gears feel? is it to much shifting? is 1st gear useless?
Still tuning but it doesn't bother me at all. Well, the Motive gear whine is annoying but I've managed to get it tolerable.
I recommend letting the installing provide every last part and fluid and go with whatever gear brand they want. When I did mine, it was my understanding Motive might make some noise(not a great deal) which I'd have a good tolerance for....but this was PIERCING whine on the hwy from 50-65 and quieter on either side of that tapering off to no noise. Quiet from 0-40 and again from 70 on up. If you drag race, shoot for 4.10's in the brand they want and just run 26" tires out back for a little more rpm.
