More parts for my project showed up.

Had one of our benders take a stab at making some 2.5 aluminum mid / over axle pipes for my turbo 3.7 2.0 project. They came out great also posting up a picture of the aluminum muffler I'll be running, total weight saving should be close to 40lbs, the increase from 2.25 to 2.5 should help a little as well. These are prototypes, not selling anything currently.

Wow, you really think 40lbs weigh savings? I know the axle backs weight a ton, but I didn't notice any difference putting in my magnaflow over axles, catbacks. If you can get some official weight that would be awesome, I'll put it in my spreadsheet.

Well the mid pipe / overaxle pipes were only 3 lbs lighter than stock but the mufflers are 2-3 lbs each vs 20lbs or so for the stockers.

Those are some tiny little bullet mufflers and barely a muffler LOL.

Are they like 12"?

That's a picture of some other ones we built that are on my Z 5.3 turbo. The ones for the stang will be the same length as stock and 6" od, 2.5" id.
