Repair Windows Defogger tab

I'm fixing a few things on my car.
One of the items is the rear windows defogger tab on a 2011 mustang v6.

I found this kit and wanted to know if this will work if I follow the directions carefully.

Auto Glass / Lens Repair : Permatex® Rear Window Defogger Electrically Conductive Tab Adhesive

I've seen videos of repairs where they solder the tab back on. I'm not a fan of that and I think I would break my window trying that route.

So I found another thread and they used
Frost Fighter Defroster Repair Online Catalog

I think I'll give that a shot, I called them up and they had good customer service, a little more pricey then what I want, but it seems simple and they gave me sound advice on how to apply it.

This is the thread I was referring too
https://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ger-cable.html

Sounds pretty simple if you just have patience and do what the directions tell you.

I'll probably make a really tiny square with masking/painters tape around the area it came off along with the grid that was unharmed with the mixed compound, and I'll also put a dab on the tab itself and sit it on the window for a few minutes, then take a hair dryer to it for a little bit and after that let it sit overnight.
