Passenger seat too low, how can I raise it?

Hey folks, my wife keeps complaining about the passenger seat being too low. I don't want to spend $300 plus on the comfort group option and add the power seat after market. Does anyone have any experience raising the seat? I am thinking of working out a way to insert some spacers to raise it an inch or so, but thought I would ask and see if anyone else has done anything like this before I go on an expedition to raise the seat. Thanks. Kevin

trade her in for a taller wife, or she can get her own car.

2012 V6 traded in for a 2017 VW GTI.

Wouldn't a shorter wife be better for this particular issue? Shorter legs, less cramped with the low seat.

Maybe a bigger butt would help too. My wife is short and not lacking any derriere and doesn't complain about the seat being too low...though she may be too busy complaining about my driving...
