Cosmetic Mod- Opinion Wanted (Poll)

Hi All, Want your opinion on a cosmetic mod for my 2011 Mustang Kona Blue. My back-up camera, and as a result the spoiler as a whole, needs to be replaced under warranty. I have the option of keeping the factory paint or painting the spoiler black.

This weekend I am going to get my windows tinted 30% FormulaOne Pinnacle Series Tint, Taillights Tinted- Dark Smoke (Similar to AM Style) and 3M Gloss Black Vinyl on the Decklid. I think the black spoiler would complete the look...Your thoughts? I've attached photos of what it would look like (made in Paint).

Note: My spoiler is slightly larger as it has the back-up camera built in.

Factory paint would look correct, black spoiler would look like after market that wasn't painted factory. If you did a completely different spoiler, then I guess black would be OK, but I like the factory paint on the spoiler. Looks complete and classy, just my

I would stay with the factory spoiler. I don't care for the tacked on look.

I would go with factory color unless going with a boss type wing spoiler and some other black accents elsewhere. Otherwise I think it just looks unfinished.

Thanks all, I think I will stay with the factory paint colour then!

I think If it was a more aggression spoiler or if I was planning on doing some Boss black C-stripes it could have worked.

the colors are too close to each other. keep the blue. if you had white or red or grabber blue then black may work .

It would depend a lot on the Color of the car
For example, with a white car, I think a black spoiler would look better, nice contrast.
But with a dark color car, then I think black just looks like a mistake.
Not sure about red or green.

With your car color use body color, the contrast isn't enough to go black.

And for black on red:

Yeah keep the same paint color, I have the same spoiler san-camera its the premium gt/cobra spoiler just larger than the standard lip spoiler but has the body line in it. However some matte black (ghost) super snake stripes would look killer on that, especially with the darker premium rims.

Most of the spoiler on mustangs are the same color as the car so why not make it different. I put a gloss black lip spoiler on my sterling gray 2014 a few mouths ago and love the look. I think it go's great with the black tail lights.
