Which tire size to go with my suspension mods?

For a 2011 V6 I have 19x8.5 AMR wheels and am thinking of 275/40 tires to go with the FRPP suspension kit. What do you think? I don't want too much of a gap but don't want it too harsh either. I had 35s on my Bullitt and I thought they were a tad too short. Also, any issues with 275? I had 9" rims last time with that size.

Should be fine. I think the 40 will give just enough flex. That hasnt been the most comfortable kit for the street though.

It would be better to have a wider wheel, that's for sure. I've had 275/35/20 on a 9" before and even that was borderline. I wouldn't run 275's on an 8.5"...the tire will fit it, but won't be able to perform as well due to the restricting width. You'd basically get the same traction from a 255.

Maybe I'll split the difference and go with 265s.
