Change Engine Oil Soon

Hey guy lately when I start the my stang, it says to change engine oil soon. I've changed it sometime back in October or September. And I highly doubt it needs a change. I have 25,900ish miles since I bought it back in 2011. After I start it, and the warning comes up, so I hit the reset button. But after I shut it off, then come the next time I start it, it comes back up? Anyone have similar issues, or know what the problem could be? Considering taking it to the dealer this Friday to get that checked out.

Are you just pushing the reset button to turn off the warning light?

You have to reset the oil life monitor.

Push the setup button until you see the oil life monitor then push and hold the reset button until it resets.

I was just pushing the reset button. I did what you told me to do, to reset the engine oil life, and it's fine now. I figure there wouldn't be anything wrong with the oil, considering I changed it back when I have 23.7k miles on it. Thanks for the help.

Have you checked the oil level and quality to make sure it's at least in there?
