Swapping Seats

Has anyone swapped power seats for the factory Recaro seats? I am interested in the wiring of the seat belt buzzer and air bags. I know that none of the power options can be hooked up. I would like to know if the buzzer and air bags are plug and play or will some splicing need to happen?

Can't say for sure on the swapping but after having the Recaros in our 12 GT500 and again on her new GT that you will love them (unless you are bigger than me and I weigh about 220) One nice long ride and you won't miss the power or the heated seats. In the curveys they can't be beat.

I am considerably larger than you. Recaro s are not comfortable at all.
I have found that the best seats to swap for are power with no temp control and no memory. Installing the Recaros in the donor car is simply plug and play, same connector. Putting the power seats in my car does involve finding a power and ground source to operate the seats. Fairly easy. Any seat from 2015 to 2017 will physically fit.
