Gt premium performance package?

Hey guys, i have a quick question. Is the 2016 Mustang GT premium considered the performance package trim or would it be called the premium performance package? I haven't been able to find a answer on google so i figured some of you guys might be able to help me.

As I understand it, "Premium" and "Performance" are two different packages.

"Premium" is luxury stuff like leather seats and upscale radio.

"Performance" is performance oriented stuff like wheels, brakes, tires, rear end ratio.

I believe you can buy the two packages separately / independent of each other . . . the Ford on-line "build and price" tool is probably the best way to find out which options can be ordered together or separately

The 2015 is exactly as you describe above. Most likely the 2016 is the same. My 2015 has both packages.

The Performance Package is available on base trim or premium trim on both Ecoboost and GT Mustangs.

The performance package is upgraded tires, wheels, brakes, suspension chassis and cooling.
