However, A prediction I made more than a year ago: New IRS+wt+Line lock = immediate broken parts.

I forgot to factor the mt82 in my original prediction. I also never knew my prediction would be true on the FIRST run I ever bothered to click on and watch....

Stock halfshafts and slicks, not a good mix.
I wonder what rpm they were launching at.

I would imagine there are not many stock cars you can put slicks on and launch at 6K+ rpms without breaking something.

Luckily Ford Racing knew this and have an easy solution:

Halfshaft Assemblies
- Fits 2015 Mustang GT, V6, and I4 EcoBoost
- Replacement half shaft assemblies
- CNC machined from aerospace high alloy materials
- Billet one piece inner and outer stub ends
- 31-spine axle bars with anti-wheel hop technology

Current Ride: 2014 RAM 1500 SPORT
Toy: 89 RX7-Turbo (Future LS Swap)

Here's the answer:

2016 Ruby Red GT/CS 401a automatic with 3:55 gears, bone stock, but not for long!

I purposely ordered a new 2014 as I too felt the IRS was not going to be the best at the track. The 2015 would be better with a converter and automatic. More consistant and easier on the drive train.

Kaboom...

100+ slick shod passes on my 2012 at clutch drop launches between 4 and 6000 rpm. Nothing saggy, nothing busted, it's still running as normal. It's an 11 sec car loaded, full weight too, with basically a mild tune and tire.

Not super impressed, for full exhaust, gutted interior, rowdy tune and CAI.

2014 Premium GT, SGM, Brembo, Auto, Tech, Comfort, etc. GT500s, Steeda UCA, VMP auto tune, 100 shot on BBR tune, best et: 11.38 at 120.85

2012 GT, Candy Red, Brembo, 3.73, Tech, Comfort, etc. Procal tune, Roush upper, UMI LCAs, Steeda red bracket, GT500s, 28X10X16 Hoosier slicks, best et: 11.91 at 115.23 RIP
