The hesitation should not be that bad maybe you should go to the dealer to get it checked out I know there is supposed to be some hesitation with autos but if you floor it and count two full seconds(one thousand one,one thousand two) and you still don't move at all I think something might need to get checked out maybe a throttle body sticking,maybe the tune from the factory is off? I am not familiar with the new 2011 5.0's I am just taking my knowledge from the 4.6 motor and trying to translate it over to the 5.0's I hope I helped you out a little.
