Grinding sound when on Clutch

Every year when it starts to get cold here, my clutch will make a grinding sound when the pedal is depressed even just a little bit, but the sound usually either goes away or nearly goes away once the car has warmed up. I don't recall ever noticing it during any other time of the year other than when its cold outside. I haven't noticed any slipping or other issues with it or gear changes. What is it causing this noise, is this a normal thing or something I should be concerned about, and how can it be fixed if its something to worry about?
