OK ..

this happened to me a lot of times before first of all it was the fuse
so thats the first place to check and i think that there are two fuses
will cause that problem so check them all

then check the wire attached to the top of the brake pedal , it breaks
all the time make sure its attached good

check your bulbs its not that hard

i believe that the shift Lock Actuator , the brake lights , flasher and horn are connected to one circuit

you can shift from Park if you want
move the key just before "start" and you can shift freely
shift it to N and then start the car
and you are free to go
