Just undo the part of the tube from the valve and undo manifold studs from the cylinder head and drop the gasket in from top, thats the way i put in my new gasket when i put my headers on it.
if your replacing it with the same factory metal gasket that has the lips at bottem then you should be able to pop it up in place from the bottem without much fuss
