P1309 and Coil Pack Changin on Mustang 1999
Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum but I was wondering if you guys could help me out.
I went to get my car inspected and it failed because of an O2 Sensor. When I connected the Computer, it showed an O2 sensor error and a P1309 Error. I already went ahead and replaced the O2 sensor and that error is gone, I still have the 1309 error and I drove the car for about 75 miles already and that 1309 error is still there. I went ahead and see if I would pass inspection but they said no until i fixed that. The Inspector told me to replace the Spark Plugs, Wires and Coil Pack. My question is, "Do i have to do anything special in changing out the coil pack?" Spark Plugs and Wires are easy, but I've never replaced a Coil Pack.
Any Tips would be appreciated it or is this the wrong thing to change out?
Thanks in advance!
