To the guys quoting prices, you're doing it again. You gotta look where the OP lives. He is in Canada. There is atleast a 30% markup on prices that you get in the US and 50% or more higher is not uncommon. When I moved to Canada 6 years ago, I was shocked as to how much more expensive parts are up here.

Also, labor rates are much higher here. Ontario is one of the worst provinces for that and you tend to not get what you paid for. You are required to be licensed to repair cars here and that makes the bad mechanics think they are good because they could pass a written test.
