1999 V6 mustang fuel issue
I have a question.
Is this a common problem on these cars. 2 years in a row now, I park the girl friend's car in fall. Come back in spring and it will not start. The pump will not prime when you turn the key. I have to pull the electical connector for the fuel pump, under the rear bumper, and put power to the fuel pump to build pressure and then the car starts fine. The car will run fine the rest of the summer until I go to pull it out of storage next year.
It's like the fuel pressure bleeds off so low over winter that the pump will not activate until I manually put power to it and build pressure ?
