It heavily depends on the car I find. For instance I purchased an extended warranty on a '04 Volvo XC90 and it's paid for itself. However I probably wouldn't spend the cash on something that simply wont have issues (not sure about the 5.0s yet). That being said, I would add another option to the poll indicating that it depends on the car/whether people actually plan on keeping the car that long. Voted no.
