Well, it fits like a glove but I have to say. It actually is 5 pounds heaver then the stock hood. I guess if you were just sticking on the hood scoop sticker that would probably add 2 or 3 pounds. So kinda a wash in my mind. The gap between the hood and the fenders is about 1/16th of an inch wider then stock. You really can't tell but I want to make sure everyone knows. The chrome grill looks great and is easily removed if you want. (For folks who may want to paint it).

I don't know if the Saleen hood allows for your windshield washer fluid squirters. If you buy it, I think you will need to modify the way they squirt on the windshield somehow. The stock and VIS hoods have a stabilazation bar at the bottom that allows you to place the sqirter tubes so they face up on the windshield. When I was looking at the Saleen hood, I really did not think about that so I don't remember.

I love it.
