I've disconnected the S/S and is taken care of that dangerous nusance but it had no effect on the shifting. 1-2 shift is still crunchy and grinds while 2-3 shift kind of catches a gear before engaging. I have another appt. with Ford later this week. There is a rumor that Ford is coming out with a fix in March but I guess you guys have heard rumors before.
The stock shifter is also a POS!
