Well, as promised I got the Viper alarm/start installed along with the speaker swap. I was in a bit of a hurry to get home so I just jumped in and took off. The highs from the Infinity's were nice and clear, but there wasn't much bass coming form the subs. When I finally got a chance I checked the settings and the treble was a +3, bass 0. After adjusting everything to zero they balanced nice. I'm not one to crank it so you can hear what I'm listening to with the windows closed but I do like to elevate the volume once in a while. The bass sounds good with the kicker replacements but a little more power would help it.

The installer suggested a 2 channel for the subs and a 4 channel for the mains, while the store owner wanted to head for deleting the subs from the door and putting them in a box in the trunk. Niether one of them was really happy with the sound. I'll stick with it till mid May most likely then I'll figure out which way I want to go.
